“The owner was so kind with my wife and me, she offered us a room upgrade for free. we didnt took the upgrade because we were comfortable. Very nice decoration, the french bread was awsome. I would be happy to go back.”

“This property has existed since the 1800s. The rooms are cute and quaint, and they are very clean. There is an outdoor patio and gazebo area so you can enjoy the views of the river and the town of Galena from a peaceful perch. It is a PERFECT location for getting around. Main Street is a block away, so we walked there every day of our trip to shop and eat. “I don’t normally do reviews but I had to for this place. It was a very high-end, upscale B&B. Absolutely beautiful property and room! Gourmet breakfast brought to the room everyday. Very scenic. Bathroom was clean and newly remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic getaway. ”
