“My whole family loves this hotel! It is beautiful and clean and in a perfect location. Very walkable to the harbor in Newport. The food is delicious and fresh, the bar is great, and even the mini bar in the rooms is a cut above. They have little stations on all of the floors (except the 2nd) where you can get cold water, sparkling water, ice, ice cream. Just another lovely touch at this hotel. We have stayed here several times, and have loved it each time. The rooms with a harbor view are a……

“Very well situated, right in the old part of Newtown. Quiet neighborhood and close to the busier streets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kindly let us stay past the check out hour. We didn’t get a room in the house we had reserved (not in Melville but in an adjacent house) and the room we got didn’t look like the pictures posted on line. It was a little poky but since we only wanted to use it to sleep in, it didn’t bother us much. ”

“The hotel was close enough to all of the places of interest in Providence. The morning breakfast was convenient, hot, and delicious - perfect because we had to get back on the road quickly the next day. If I am ever back in the area, I would definitely stay again.”
