“We have stayed at this hotel several times and I have given 5 stars in the past. This recent stay we have noticed items which are need of repair or replacement such as the mattresses in our room. ”

“My whole family loves this hotel! It is beautiful and clean and in a perfect location. Very walkable to the harbor in Newport. The food is delicious and fresh, the bar is great, and even the mini bar in the rooms is a cut above. They have little stations on all of the floors (except the 2nd) where you can get cold water, sparkling water, ice, ice cream. Just another lovely touch at this hotel. We have stayed here several times, and have loved it each time. The rooms with a harbor view are a……

We didn’t get a room in the house we had reserved (not in Melville but in an adjacent house) and the room we got didn’t look like the pictures posted on line. It was a little poky but since we only wanted to use it to sleep in, it didn’t bother us much. ”
