"If you want to get away for the crowded side of Puerto Vallarta, this area is great. It’s about 25 min away from the Puerto Vallarta side but the beaches are better and quieter. The dining was great plenty of options, I recommend the Italian restaurant it was my favorite. The all-inclusive service was plenty, our room was cleaned and stocked daily with fresh items. The staff was friendly, and more than accommodating. The spa was ok little overpriced for its services. The lights in our room were on a timer and we had very limited and mixed use of them. They wouldn’t work when you needed them. Besides that everything was good. "

"Great staff, very nice location. Free to borrow the bikes and paddle boards, very accommodating. The shower water doesn’t get very hot or cold, and AC is alright, but other than that it was perfect "

"Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food was actually pretty good. Rooms and shared space were clean. Easy access to the beach where chairs await you & you can rent an umbrella if you want. Pool areas had a snack bar (food was mediocre here though) and bar areas, and they were well watched by security so we felt safe. "

"The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. The hotel itself is gorgeous with lots of amenities. I loved that they had a sports bar that was open 24/7. The food was delicious and I loved that there were so many options to eat. We will definitely be back. "

"We had an excellent stay at Villa Del Palmar Flamingos. There is only one pool but it is very big and the temperature control is great, making for a calm and relaxing swim at any time of the day and evening. The property is fairly small, you can walk around the entire area in 10 minutes or less. The beach is nice and breezy, with lots of loungers available. The restaurants were the highlight of our trip. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and properly seasoned. Even though there weren't many restaurants, each had a decently sized menu with lots of variety so we did not repeat any meals in our 6-night stay. The staff service was a hit-and-miss. At some restaurants like the Sushi bar, we received excellent service. At others, the service was just so-so. The only somewhat unnerving experience was having to wait and sign the bill receipt at the end of each meal, despite opting for the all-inclusive option. It felt like they were tracking all of the food and beverages we consumed and were going to hand us a big bill at the end but this was not the case. The check-out was straightforward and there was no outstanding balance. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the TV tech is very outdated with no access to streaming services like Netflix. The AC was super COLD and worked flawlessly 24/7. Overall, this resort was greater value for the money and we had a great time. "
