“Only place to stay in the small town”

“This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby.”

“Great spot, lots of ways to kick back and relax. Outside the city but close enough to Columbus for anything you might need. Lots of history. Definitely recommend!”

“Elicia was great - she checked in on us multiple times to ensure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful! Only a 45-minute drive from Cypress (which is great for two toddlers) and has lots to do, including swimming, fishing, games, etc., for the adults and kiddos. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely keep in mind for future getaways.”

“the hairdryer didn’t work. called front desk they replaced right away. turns out it was the wall socket that wasn’t working not the hair dryer. but they were attentive to my request and gave me another dryer. Had to use a different wall socket. ”

“We rented this ranch for our ministries Annual Board Retreat. We have 24 people on our Board and we have stayed at many location over the years. However, the ranch was hands down the best spot we have ever stayed at. There was such a peace about the property. The livestock is amazing, the house and the guest house are both clean and well kept but the lake and the view of the lake was incredible. We went in the February so we could swim or enjoy being in the water but just sitting on the porch……

“We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. Looking for a place to get away from the noise of the city and hear the faint sound of a rooster crow at a distant farm you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. If we plan to come……

“This house is a Victorian gem with many original details including woodwork, transoms, and 14-foot ceilings. Spacious rooms, including bedrooms, where a family or friends can spread out for privacy or gather for meals, games, and conversation.
