“We arrived very late and weren’t sure if there is any staff to check us in. ”

“Accommodation was good. But shower too low for someone over 6'4". Room was flean and adequate. Breakfast could have been a bit better but again adequeate. Receptoon staff very helpful and friendly.”

“Hotel in lovely location by the Thames. Car parking easy and included in the price. Reception busy but moved quickly. It would have been good to be informed about facilities and where breakfast was however the hotel was signed well for restaurant. Bed comfortable. Room had bath and separates shower that was great. Tea/Coffee making facilities available. Could do with iron in room.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here to celebrate our special wedding anniversary. All the stafff were welcoming & excellent. Our room (Delude) was super spacious with a 4 poster bed & lovely bedlinen. The spa was great and I had a fantastic treatment with Marilyn. Yes the property is a little tired but the surroundings & staff made it a very special stay nevertheless and we will definitely return. Breakfast was also excellent. The grounds are stunning so highly recommend this hotel for a stay. ”

“Decor was unique and a unique experience in the room however I feel it lacked atmosphere and the food options were expensive and personally not worth the expense however the hotel itself was an experience and had a good stay when there. ”

“We were very pleasantly surprised when our room not only had a spacious balcony with a table and chairs, but also a lovely view of the Thames and the hotel grounds. The room price -- which was reasonable for such a nice room in a beautiful small town next to Oxford and near London -- included a comfortable king-size bed, a full breakfast that we ordered from a menu - and even included Scottish salmon - as well as the parking. Check-in and check-out were both friendly and efficient. Highly……
