"Hotel Palace Royale is within walking distance to many attractions. The pool and hot tub are great for the end of the day soak after a long day of non stop walking. The check in was easy. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in to our room. The front staff was super helpful with suggestions of things to see and things to do. A couple of suggestions would maybe have robes in the rooms to curl up in or wear down to the pool and body lotion. Definitely would return. "

"We stayed here as it was a short walk from Gare Centrale where our Via train was coming in. Check in is open until 2am which is awesome because our train was really late. The price was comparable to other spots downtown. The downside is that the property could use some updates. The trim in our hallway was ripped off. Our room had a giant 3 foot by 1 foot window air conditioner that looked like it was from the 90s and when we turned it on it made a horrible rattling noise. At some point near...

Upon arrival, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We asked the staff to please clean it while we were out for lunch. We came back two and a half hours later and it still was not clean. "Generally enjoyed the stay, but the room had old water damage that was very visible. A shame they didnt even bother repainting the baseboards. Staff and cleanliness were good though, just the room condition took away from the experience. "
