“Very quant small boutique accommodation in a secluded area of Quopes about 30 minute drive away. Right on a beautiful beach which black sand. More of a location for decompresion than chocked full of activities. Miles of beach to walk on, especially good at low tide where a 100 yards of the beach is exposed. Owner is fabulous, help me set up day trips. Have to drive down a dirt road 3 miles to get to the resort. Again, isolated area.”

“Very cozy and clean”

“Väldigt trevlig personal och fint rum. Även fint område runt poolen. Lugnt område i vad som verkade vara ett vanligt bostadsområde. Höga sängar; bra för oss lite äldre. Bra med separata pool- och strandhanddukar. Bra frukost. Trevliga ”husdjur” (ödlor). Bra kylskåp på rummet. Då vi checkade ut fick vi skjuts till busshållplatsen (ca 1km). Den största nackdelen var nog avståndet till stranden (1-2 kilometer) men det är ju bra med motion… Musiken i baren var av och till för hög i vår smak.”

“We were notified ahead of time that the pool was not available and could cancel the reservation even though the internet said non-refundable. We stayed there anyway but appreciated the effort. We arrived late and tired on a Thursday and were told that it is the one night each week that the restaurant is closed. This was frustrating for us. Wish they noted that on the amenities list. But we did eat there the next night and it was amazing food!!! The breakfast was also delicious and generous!”

“My two friends and I shared a ‘family condo’ unit right on the beach, near delicious restaurants like Vista Hermosa (meat, fish, and vegan options). It was beautiful, spacious, sleepy, and quiet. The kitchen, 2 bedrooms and living room were large. The pool was warm and much larger than most hotel pools. Although the unit needed some minor repairs, it was impeccably clean. The only downside in our opinion was that it did not include the breakfast promised on the listing. We loved our stay and……

“Das Hotel hat eine sehr ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Dort waren wir fast allein. Der Strand ist ein paar Kilometer lang, gut für lange Spaziergänge am Wasser. Das Hotelpersonal war superfreundlich. Im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.”

“Very peaceful and relaxing property. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are kept clean on a daily. The chef is flexible with your meal substitutions and requests. The food is fresh with healthy options . Transportation offsite for exploration is hard as well as pricey especially if traveling solo. Other than that everything was wonderful.”

“Excellent location by a beautiful beach with people enjoying the weekend. But it is peaceful and empty during the week, especially heading west for 10 minutes, where you walk along a thin strip of coastline between the ocean and the jungle, seeing rock outcroppings, birds, and surf while hearing all sorts of sounds from nature. ”

From your room, take a few steps to the pool, and then a few more to the beach, you can’t stay any closer. Just remember this isn’t a Marriott or Hilton in a major US city, it’s a boutique hotel in the middle of a jungle paradise! So set your expectations accordingly. If you want to be steps away from beautiful warm ocean and wildlife for an affordable price, then you’ll love it……
