"Visited in May 2024 - this is a wonderful, clean, stay in a second-floor carriage house, literally a stone's throw from a private sandy beach. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry, with convenient beach chairs and umbrellas, toys for the kids. WiFi is spotty, but who wants to do work when the beach is across the street?!? Highly recommended!"

"My two besties and I were looking for a get away to celebrate our birthdays and we could not be happier to have stayed at Dawn's house - it is truly a hidden gem!!! We originally looked at Mystic / Newport area but ultimately wanted to find a house where we could relax and walk to the beach. We didn't know much about New London, but had searched the coast using the map function and the property seemed perfect. We were SO impressed with how it exceeded our expectations! We live in CT and have driven through New London, but didn't realize it had such beautiful properties on the water. This house is less than a block from a private sandy beautiful beach, a nice walk to a buzzy boardwalk, and there are great restaurant options nearby. It was PERFECT for us. Dawn is definitely a super host. You can feel it in the way she has maintained and decorated her home for guests. Being on a girls weekend, we wanted it to feel a bit elevated and this house delivered. The house is not only clean but has a beautiful modern feel, the bedrooms are perfectly sized, updated bathrooms, there is a ton of natural light, adorable outdoor seating, the perfect selection of kitchenware, new clean beach chairs and towels. Even the toiletries, towels, hairdryer, etc were top notch. While Dawn respected our privacy we were so happy to meet her as she was incredibly friendly and we got to share our compliments with her - and told her we'll be booking again next year! It's a hidden gem!"

"Very spacious and interesting layout in a clean, beautiful house. Location is close to the water and a public beach. If in the area again, would love to come back. Owner, Tony, is great and kept everything simple and easily manageable. All the little things were supplied. I highly recommend this property and this host!"

"This was a great place for us to have the whole family for a graduation from the USCGA. Plenty of space for everyone and a great outdoor area that we used a lot since the weather was beautiful. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay again."

"The host was prompt with communications. Place was clean and well stocked. Really appreciated the extra touches, such as a variety of coffee options for Keurig and the individual boxes of cereal. If I were there during summer I would take advantage of the basket of S’mores fixings."

"We had a big group with all different ages. Everybody enjoyed their stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and very thoughtfully decorated. The pool table, poker table and Pac-Man kept us all entertained during out time there. Hosts were friendly and responsive."

"My now Wife and I stayed here with our entire wedding party as an alternative from a hotel. This was such an amazing experience, the layout of the house was beautiful and allowed every member to have not only their own sleeping quarters, but private space as well. We were a group of 20 people so options are limited, but this home was a no brainer. Not only was it beautiful, but also functional with a HUGE dining room table and living area on the second floor for the majority of our guests to be together and get to know one another. Katie was also wonderful, we had very few "issues" during our stay, but when we had to contact her for user error trying to turn on the firepit or questions about trash handling she was so responsive and helpful typically getting back to us in less than 10 minutes. We had family and friends traveling in from all over the country (WA, AK, FL, IA) for this event and Katie was accommodating to all of them when we asked about max number of people in the home at any given time. Katie made this part of our wedding weekend easy and fun. We almost wanted to get married again, just to have an excuse to book this property again!"
