“Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The property was beautifully designed and very well kept. It had great amnesties that allowed us to dine in and enjoy the wood burning stove. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. We would definitely stay again”

“Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!”

“We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2..”

“Wir sind zu fünf Erwachsen dort gewesen. Das Häuschen war super und hat alles gehabt was man braucht. Alles hat super funktioniert👍 Der Bruder der Vermieterin der nebenan wohnt war sehr nett. Supermarkt ist etwas entfernt, aber wenn man dieses Haus mietet, hat man ein Auto und dann ist es egal. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!”

“I can’t recommend this property enough. It was the most peaceful and comfortable stay. Deirdre and John’s attention to detail in the design and accommodation in the cottage was amazing. We were greeted by 2 sweet dogs and a happy line of cows walking into the pasture. The large bay windows flood the home with light. Deirdre left eggs, milk, fresh bread and jam for us to nibble on for breakfast. She had many wonderful local suggestions. I can’t say enough about the scenery. I highly recommend……

“What a beautiful, private, comfortable peaceful and so many positive adjectives I could use to describe our stay. We went to bed with no siren and traffic sounds from the city and woke up with the songs of birds. Recommend this place for people who need a get away from the hustling of a busy life. The hostess was more than accommodating.”

“My family of six stayed here after st. Patrick’s Day. It’s the perfect location to see the cliffs of Moher. The view from the cottage itself is absolutely stunning. The cottage is beautiful outside and inside with new floors and furnishings. It’s extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here.”
