Well located on E.Jones street, close to Forsyth Park and walkable in the touristic district. The staff showed that they really cared about the customers. "I loved the old world charm & the decor. The breakfast & dessert nacks were delicious. The staff were awesome (Gary & Dwayne). The room was very clean & nicely decorated. What I did not like was the noise that you can hear (beautiful tall windows but not sound proof). I also was a little uncomfortable being asked if I wanted to leave a tip after check out. This was totally new & so unsure so I declined. Not because the staff was not great, just caught me off guard. Perhaps some pre warning...

"For the price, this stay is sufficient. It is clean and the lock on the door was automated and secure. However, as a female traveler, I didn’t feel the most safe in the neighborhood. The staff is very kind and reimbursed us for the lack of consideration from other guests making noise all night long."

"We had a fantastic stay here for my husband's birthday weekend. The staff was so nice and friendly. The shaded outdoor area was cozy. Our room was huge (the loft) and the bed was very comfortable. The place is pet-friendly and we loved meeting the adorable dogs. Everything was perfectly clean as well. We were in the heart if the historic district with an easy walk to everything. The evening wine and cookies were a bonus!"

"Courteous and helpful staff. Property located near Forsyth Park. Our room was adequate but needed some repairs/renovation. Shower had a rainfall head which did not work and the handheld spray could not be secured for use without hands. Mirror over sink was very small. Lighting in room and bathroom was very dim. Cable TV and internet was not available on the last morning of our stay. Attempted to contact staff via phone but no one answered."

"A very cool building. A bit funky, the bathroom was across the hallway. Felt like a real home. Beautiful woodwork. Great neighborhood. Very nice breakfast. We could hear MARTA from our bed in the morning, which was funny because we can hear BART from our home in the Bay Area and it sounded exactly the same. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Would stay here again. "

"Lovely, quiet bed and breakfast. Our rooms were comfortable and clean with attached bathrooms rather than sharing a bath down the hall. I loved the check in by door code rather than having to coordinate arrival with an owner. The porch was very relaxing also."

"We had the best stay at the Stephan Williams House! I could not recommend it enough. Doc was wonderful and so helpful throughout our stay. The house and courtyard are beautiful and very clean. Delicious southern breakfast served daily. The location is perfect, so we never had to use our rental car in the city (which stayed for free in the parking area behind the house). This place beats a hotel any day if you are looking for a truly authentic Savannah experience!"
