"Everything was wonderful, staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and clean. Walking distance of numerous activities including Inner Harbor and Stadiums. Easy parking on site. No need to pay for parking or valet. Overall a wonderful experience. "

"I would happily stay here again! Alex, the owner, served breakfast each day and chats with people. Leroy, the manager, is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You couldn’t pick a better location in Williamsburg to be close to W&M or Colonial Williamsburg. Parking is behind the building and it was easy to get in and out. The area is quiet at night and very safe. I had high expectations when I booked my stay here and they were exceeded! Everything you’d expect and want from a B&B."

"We loved our stay. The bed was so so comfortable. One of the most comfy beds we've slept in! The b&b is adorable, walking distance to everything, and the breakfast is homemade cooked fresh and absolutely delicious! Feels more like you are spending your vacation in a nice home with all the amenities rather than a hotel/inn since they keep it so quaint and homey! "Perfect location, helpful staff, very clean. Basic breakfast included was tasty, though a bit limited. Pleasant terrace adjacent to dining area for breakfast or relaxation. Bed a bit firm for my tastes, but overall would not hesitate to stay again and definitely recommend Fife & Drum."

"It was a short stay. We are local and wanted a nice place to stay while we were having noisy plumbing repairs done at home. Tiffany, the inn keeper, Was very accommodating for my elderly wheelchair-bound mother. Views of the river were beautiful. I look forward to coming sometime when I can stay and perhaps kayak the river."
