"The home is in desperate need of a few cosmetic repairs inside and out. The property is beautiful and the area is gorgeous for nice walks. There are many exterior doors in each of the bedrooms and it appears the doors do not lock from the inside but they are locked on the outside, these definitely need to be repaired. There are many rooms where wires are just hanging out of the wall and floor, they do not appear to be live, but it looks awful and makes you feel very uncomfortable. Many of the shades in the bedrooms are broken in multiple areas, which meant I put towels over the windows. Speaking of the bedrooms, I believe the room descriptions mentioned one king room, one queen room and one room with two twins, the king room was correct and then the other two bedrooms had two twin beds, we made out okay but many families would be disappointed with the description. One of the biggest complaints that we had was the cleanliness of the home. For example, the tubs were not clean, luckily we brought cleaning supplies with us, but this should not be our responsibility to take care of for the money you are paying to rent the home. Two of the bathrooms had trash in the cans, this should have been taken care of by the cleaning/maintenance crew. Also, the rules of the home state that you should run the dishwasher and make sure all dishes are put back in place before leaving. There are areas where smoke alarms used to be, but they are gone and the alarm system does not work."
