“We had the room farthest from the check in. The walkway was not the widest path. But we managed. The room was wonderful and the facility was as well. Good service and good people. ”

“Lovely resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. You wouldn’t even know it’s there. Need to have coffee makers in the rooms along with access to communal water and ice. For the price, it was expensive.”

“This property is a doorway to nature's paradise. Being set in jungle with an open living theme there is nothing to not love about Congo bongo. The cry of howler monkeys at 4am followed by the jungle waking up to the evening cry of the toucan nature is all around. The ambience is complimented by the warmth and friendliness of the people who call this place home.”

“The rooms get poor WiFi service, the WiFi is free and strong everywhere else. Breakfast is good, option for eggs made to order, fruit, breads, rice and beans. Beach club food was ok, nothing great. The pool is clean and lovely, and you came beat the ocean view from the front. Walking to and from the main road was safe at night. The paths in the hotel could be better lit at night. ”

“It's a cute, clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay at. It has a nice pool. Our unit had a well equipped kitchen. The only negative I felt was a relatively long bumpy dirt road that takes you to the property. ”
