"The room was spacious and very very clean. Everything was handled through texting for check in and out which was convenient. Loved the private beach access and the pool/hot tub. My husband and I will for sure be back!"

"This place was perfect for our little family. We had top floor and it was perfect. Walk to beach was perfect as well. View of ocean was amazing from the deck. The floor below us had other tenants and you could hear them very well talking or tv and their dog and when they walked the whole place shook. ..."

Definitely eat dinner at the Inn on Pamlico sound. It is the best dinner in the area. The best place to eat lunch, we heard of by word of mouth, and we agree, is Buxton Munch. We’ve eaten there twice now, and everything was good.

Buxton is where I spent most of my summers growing up. It has changed a lot through the years but my experiences with the people never have changed. They are awesome. Love it here.

Check the roads before you go. Make sure there's not a storm. We drove in terrible conditions. Don't mess with mother nature.

Beautiful outer banks town. Even after a recent hurricane everyone was open and friendly. Great place to go relax and support locally owned businesses. However, if you are looking for Starbucks and McDonalds you won’t find them here
