"Our favorite place to stay 1-2 nights. BP needs major renovations. Leaks, rooms need deep cleaning, bathrooms could use makeovers.....Furniture aroun the hotel needs to be disgarded to make spaces more comfortable for guest to enjoy outside their rooms or on patios. Other boutique hotels are becoming more attractive as they are newer or have completed their makeovers. We love the Palacio, but would like to see and feel more up to date upkeep. "

"Good value for money. Problem with Punta Cana is the electricity blackout's. But the staff was super and they transferred me to their nearby sister hotel. The room was big with a nice balcon. Great location and within walking distance to most sights."
