“Had a great time at Gary’s place. Terry, the property manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately the washing machine broke before our arrival, so we didn’t have access to it during our stay. Terry let us know in advance and both she and Gary were accommodating to our arrival time, even though it was outside the checkin time. The cabin is great! Plenty of room for our group of 8 that spanned infant to adult. Plus a dog. Board games and a well stocked kitchen. It’s close to the lake and……

“This is our second stay at this VRBO. Again, well stocked; everything is easily accessible. Considerations are definitely made for guests in mind. Comfortable upstairs bed. Haven't used downstairs bedrooms as our children are in college and have not been able to join us on our past couple trips. Home itself is nice and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe. We will definitely be back.”

“PROs: Perfect location, right by Kings Beach. Stroll right across the street to the Lake. Lots of great coffee joints, shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. Bed was comfy, came with a comfy chair and foot rest Generally quiet neighbors Check in process was easy Great price! CONs: - seemed clean when we first walked in, but once we got settled we started seeing that some spoons were not clean, some stray hairs were left about. Nothing major but not impressive - WiFi didn’t work/was……

“We had a great stay at the property. It had everything we needed to get some comfortable rest and daily hiking. Made breakfast daily and not too far from some restaurants up the road. Spent the first snowy evening in the hot tub and hiked locally the first day. Took a short drive to Fallen Leaf Lake where we hiked the next day. The mountain venue is spectacular!”

“This location would have been perfect if this was a ski getaway. Since it was not, it was a little far for our purposes. However, the condo was clean, comfortable. The hot tub was a plus! One thing to mention is the stairs leading to the condo may be an issue for some. Overall, the place was nice and hosts were very accommodating. I’d highly recommend for skiers!”

“Super cute place, quiet and felt safe and comfortable. The owner was super responsive. I couldn’t connect to internet, but that was probably just me. I wasn’t too worried about that since Tahoe is right there. Marla bay is private, so I had to drive to different beaches and couldn’t just walk, but was still super close. And my dog was allowed, so that was key! :)”

“Overall, we truly loved the chalet and our visit to Tahoe! The cabin is a little far from town, so keep that in mind. The cabin was very clean, we just ran into some issues with our bed sheets upon arrival, but Jack was a doll and brought us clean sheets late at night! The main bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I have back issues too so it was very apparent to me, but it might not be for someone else. That is really my only complaint. “Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals……

“Great place. Fun game room with pool table. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice hot tub and plenty of bathrooms. Need to bring own soap/shampoo. Super market within a mile on main road-close to S Lake Tahoe if you like that. Multi-levels, so if steps are a problem, not your place, but no problem for us.”
