"From the outside, we were a little nervous about what we had chosen; however, the rooms were nice and comfortable for the night. The hot shower was awesome! The free shuttle to the airport was on time at 4:30 a.m. and the recommendation on when to get to the airport was spot on. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance. Monument Pizza and Grill was excellent. We would stay here again."

"Very convenient location if you need to overnight near the airport; the transport is also very nice, although the 4AM run was late due to the driver over-sleeping. Very nice staff. Good food in the restaurant, although the smokiness made me not want to linger. Despite the name London Rooms, the staff had fairly limited English, but their care and willingness to work through language barriers was part of what made the place charming and fun. "The hotel was in the heart of lower town. Easy access to the train and very walkable. Anything you would need is in this area. The hotel was pretty quiet and very comfortable. "The hotel had a comfortable bed with blockout curtains and all the amenities one would want in a room . It’s a two mike walk to the old town and restaurants but for us it was good to walk back after dinner . One can catch an Uber or tram so convenient I guess . The shower had good force but there was something about it that made the water too hot or cold but worked out regardless . Wish I could have spent time in the jacuzzi and pool which looked inviting and awesome . "

Once you walk through the doors you easily forget the roughness of the neighbourhood.The room is splendid, clean and airy. Breakfasts, included with the cost of the room, are sumptuous. It's a very full buffet of a wide variety of choices, from proteins to fibre. Our check in agent (who was in the industry in Peru) gave a great dinner recommendation - Purger - which is an authentic Croatian restaurant. We would book the Astoria again, without hesitation."
