"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"We stayed on the 3rd floor of a refurbished train station. The room was clean and the decor inventive. The dinner was well done and the owners gracious. One caveat is that the owners haven't yet put in an elevator and the 2 flights of stairs are the characteristically steep and narrow Dutch stairs."

"We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Christy’s handsome B&B Bovien - she is the perfect host. All our requests were met with a prompt, helpful response. The stairs were a challenge for 4 seniors with some mobility issues but we took and time and Christy’s family helped with the luggage. Would stay here again - thanks Christy."

"The property owner, Marion, was absolutely outstanding. She gave us tips on what to see, where to eat and how to get there. She checked daily to see if we needed anything and that the apartment was clean. The two bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The location is excellent for seeing the sights and it felt like home after a hard day of sightseeing. The apartment is on the 4th floor but we didn’t have a problem even though we are in our late 70s. A lovely stay and a lovely manager."

Ania received us warmly, was friendly, and addressed any needs we had although not many. Communication with Wytse was flawless for our arrival. First off, the host Wimmo was there to greet us very warmly, and he gave us a thorough overview of the residence as well as some nearby recommendations for food and drink. "This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette.
