"We are so grateful for the the absolute peace we experienced at Brooke and Frantz's cabin. It is decorated and designed for comfort, convenience and FUN! After driving for 9 hours we were exhausted and full of stress. Just one night at the cabin and we were all refreshed and ready to explore! My granddaughter (13) slept in the loft and thought it was "super comfy and really cool". The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows! "I came to take a private retreat “away from it all” and was delighted in all ways by my stay. Bob is a cordial and caring host. The cottage was impeccably clean, updated and well stocked with all little touches from coffee to brew, creamers and condiments, soft and comfortable towels, blankets and sheets (I only mention because of their comfort). The place was cozy and well arranged. Nice screened in front porch and chairs and fire pit by the Esopous Creek… a few feet from the cottage. Location...

"The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away."

"The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway."

The amenities were all very tasteful (especially the cedar hot tub!) and the outside lights really tied together the cozy mountain cabin vibes at night.
