“Great location Clea, quiet, everything you need”

“This was our second stay on Bass Lake, but first in this location. We really appreciated having access to a beach and kayaks, plus the fire pit was excellent. The house has all the things you would want for a long stay, plus the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owners were attentive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. “The property was in a great location and convenient to all areas around Traverse City. The bedrooms were comfortable, the child safety gates were helpful, they even provided a pack ‘n play last minute for us. The only downside of the stay/location is that the pool was listed as heated and open through Labor Day. The pool was open and even though there were days of 85+ degree weather, it was not heated and this not usable; areas of Lake Michigan were actually warmer. Other than that, I would...

“First the owners were very responsive in answering some questions we had before booking, and in making us feel welcomed. The location was convenient to get into TC or anywhere on the peninsula. The home looks just like in the pictures and is very tidy. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating areas inside and out. Grandma’s home was perfect for our group of six. We had a fantastic stay!”

There are plenty of pots/pans/silverware/plates/cups/bowls etc. There are spices but if you need cooking oil and also baggies/foil, bring your own. The rooms are spacious and there are enough closets/drawers to put your stuff. Lots of blankets and pillows. One bed is quite hard but it fixed the crook in my back! Internet is strong. There is a TV in one bedroom and in the livingroom which allowed us to spread out for chill time....
