“Wildgoose Cottage was a fabulous, away from it all break. The only noise we heard was nature, cows, pheasant and lots of birds. We were lucky to see a deer with a fawn and boxing hares. This is a very relaxing place to stay but a good 45 minutes walk to the centre of Whitby either along the road or the Cleveland Way.”

“overall impression of property very good, lots of extras ie books, games, lovely decoration and cosy feel to living room area .could not get on to net flix but no big deal, heating a bit hit and miss could be chilly in winter , did provide throws, no parking area but managed to find somewhere on the road outside . Overall a very relaxing stay. Also provided with excellent information re amenities, Would definitely stay here again as very near to whitby amenities , lovely cosy room ,good size……

“Beautiful, spacious renovated old mill. Great outdoor space overlooking private stream. Luxury bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. Large kitchen, dining room and 2 lounge areas. An amazing stay with everything you could possibly want in a quiet, secluded area, close to Whitby. Would thoroughly recommend and wiuld definitely stay again if in the area. “Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. Car parking right outside the front door.”

“Lovely place to stay. We spent the bank holiday weekend here and it accommodated all of our needs. Host was flexible and allowed us to drop bags earlier than check in time. Apartment was clean and spacious for 2 people. Would definitely stay again! ”

“Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was beautiful, and very accommodating. We stayed in room 6 in the courtyard, and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, truly beautiful. Really cosy and romantic. We had our dog with us as well, they left a dog bowl and some treats in the room for him which was a lovely addition. Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was lovely too. Will definitely be back! ”
