"Stayed at this rental for Labor Day weekend with my family. The house was amazing, it was clean the beds were super comfortable, the only thing that was a little annoying was the squeaking of the bunk bed every time you move. Other than that, everything was great. we used the bikes that were available to bike to the beach and the shower outside was amazing! the bike ride to beach is about 10-15 min and walking is like 40 min, driving 5 min. I recommend staying here!"

"TLDR: House is old (in not a cute way), broken (or one strong breeze from being broken), cheap, and possibly dangerous. Complaints in previous reviews not fixed. The hot tub was ice cold the whole weekend (our main reason for picking this house - please don't pick it expecting to use the hot tub). Full review: This house is thoroughly "meh". "Great location just a short walk to the beach. The house had lots of fun games, cards, books, kitchen items, and a very peaceful vibe. Perfect for our group of 6. Sheets, towels, and beach chairs made it very convenient. The owner responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. Look for dolphins on the beach and a grey fox in the neighborhood. We had not been to Broadkill Beach before and really enjoyed the natural, laid back atmosphere. We did not want to leave."

Like other guests, we tried to contact the owner with questions during our stay and got no response. There was also no check out instructions, so we were not sure how they wanted trash and bed linens handled. Everything was great except for communication."

"VERY NICE NEIGHBORHOOD. QUIET AND PRESTINE. COTTAGE WAS COMFORTABLE, HOMEY, CLEAN AND VERY WELL APPOINTED. WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO FREINDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. OWNERS WERE VERY ACCOMMADATING. SPENT AT LEAST AN HOUR WITH THEM TO WALK US TROUGH SIGNING INTO THE TV. SUCH PATIENCE!! WE ARE NOT VERY TECH SAVVY. THEY WERE VERY PLEASEANT. "We got what we paid for. Not complaining at all. It's bare bones. If you get a room you get a bed , fridge, tv, microwave. Our view was right on the boardwalk and could see and hear the ocean which was equally one of our favorite parts. Slept so good. The downside is just because it can get a little noisy at certain periods because you are right on the boardwalk, but it was nothing overwhelmingly loud. Just be aware that you can hear the sounds of the boardwalk. Would definitely book here again...

"This place was perfect for us. We were coming for a quick getaway and this place was extremely clean, no weird smells, and looks like the pictures. Two things I want to mention that could help with booking is the campground does rent out bikes and I think kayaks which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Also we couldn’t find towels which was a first for me in a bnb. Not a big deal for us because we wanted new ones for home anyway. Thanks for a great weekend and we will definitely be...
