"This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! "

It was odd because we got there an hour and a half after check in but they still were not done. Other than that, loved our stay!"

One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. I had been to Asheville several times, but I usually stay closer to town and walkable to most downtown areas, so this was a wonderful balance of being able to enjoy the outdoor space while still being able to catch inexpensive Uber/Lyft rides when easier to leave the car parked at the cabin."

"This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Perched on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The place was clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The whole experience was smooth and top notch. Everyone was so happy and impressed with this spot. It was so close to Asheville, we were able to go into the city for some of the time and explore. Mitchel, Chimney Rock State Park, The Biltmore, and several hikes and overlooks on the Blueridge Parkway. The host was a great communicator. Experience was excellent!"

From spending mornings with coffee and a book with the sound of the stream to afternoons walking the trails to evenings catching up on movies (after some time in the hot tub), I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "Wonderful, clean, relaxing and secluded cabin. This place was perfect for our stay, we felt close to everything but also very secluded when we wanted to relax. We had our young child with us and they provided excellent amenities like a baby gate, portable crib and high chair, that made our trip easy!
