As young seniors we were given a room on the second floor that we had to walk up 2 short stairways while lifting luggage was not the most convenient thing. Room is on the smaller side but quite quaint looking. No Tv or A/C just a ceiling fan and 2 windows open. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave are great. Shower stall only, no tub. Friendly staff at desk and very helpful. Undecided if I would stay again.

We enjoyed staying right in Waterton Village. It is a small walkable village with lots of amenities. Crandell is clean, quaint and convenient.

We have stayed many times for one or two nights. We like it because it because the building is older and unique. The present owners have begun to update the rooms but not all rooms are done as yet. The entrances to the rooms need doing also and so does the wooden patio out front. But i think this will get done in time. Our room was small but comfortable. We had a very comfortable king bed with soft linens. There is no air conditioning but the window opens and the ceiling fan is great. All but maybe two rooms face north, away from the hot sun. There are two floors with no elevator access so people with mobility issues need to check before reserving.

The room was lovely. Unfortunately people arrived around 9 at night.They were upstairs and were still making a terrible noise at 1 in the morning. There seemed to be no way of stopping every sound from upstairs being heard downstairs

We had a very nice room. The staff was very nice. The bed was comfortable. There were tea cups and a teapot, 2 biscuits, and a lovely tea for the guests. We liked the fireplace except, we could not control it. It was burning and made the room hot. Fortunately we could open the windows and control the temperature that way.

We were in the Bear Suite and loved it. It was isolated from the rest of the rooms. Jacuzzi in the room. Wouldn't wanted the other rooms. Too noisy. Grounds could a major overhaul. Need to go across the street to check in. If you have mobilty issues, this place is not for you.

What an adorable room we had, and it was very peaceful! We love Waterton Lakes National Park, and thought it was a perfect idea to spend my husband’s birthday here. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helped us with any requests that we had, even an obscure request, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Crandell Mountain Lodge! Thank you!

The beds were clean and comfortable but a dirty red hand print on the wall left us with the “ick.” The shower could use a good cleaning as black gunk was around it. Surrounding area is lovely.
