Beautiful room with kitchen and dining area. So comfortable! It’s within walking distance to a lot of places but at night, there’s just no restaurants open at all if you get hungry late at night. I will definitely consider taking this place again the next time we visit.

Commendable front desk personnel Prompt attention to housekeeping need Prompt attention to maintanence need Generous breakfast provision Lovely breakfast dining area Some food outlets close by Room was adequately sized. Bed mattress was firm and comfortable Neighborhood streets are reasonably quiet. Cons: location is a bit farther from downtown/mall than we cared to walk so spent a fortune on Uber Neighborhood is just a bit underdeveloped Building is one of the most blah buildings in the city

Our group was staying in DC for the first time. I was nervous picking a hotel. I wanted something close, but everything was so expensive. I chose this hotel first of all because Marriott has never failed me on quality. But, it was also more affordable. We used the metro about 4 blocks away and walked ALOT of places. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. No regrets!

I’ve stayed at a fair number of hotels but the staff here were well above par. Every single interaction from the ladies at the breakfast buffet to the hotel manager was an absolute pleasure. There is some remodeling happening, but the lobby and second floor were great and the floor we stayed on had just been fully renovated so it was all fresh and shiny. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!
If you're looking for a hotel room that feels like home, look no further! Residence Inn by Marriott lives up to its name. A spacious room with comfortable beds, and a full kitchen, not just a kitchenette with a microwave oven and some plates and silverware. (My only quibble: no electric kettle, just a small tea/coffeemaker. Putting kettles in the rooms would definitely be an improvement.) Excellent location and the CVS next door is very convenient. Lastly, the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. The staff was totally understanding when I had to check out late for work reasons (I asked to push the checkout from noon to 1 but ended up leaving at 1:30 or so; I even offered to pay for the late checkout but they wouldn't hear of it). Definitely want to stay here again!
