"An incredible stay at Casa Joanna. What a beautiful place in the heart of Tuscany. Only 15 mins from Lucca, 7 from the nearest supermarket. The villa was well equipped for everything you’d need during your stay. The grounds, pool and patio area were a tranquil escape. "The villa is charming with a every spacious living area and pleasant garden setting with pool. The hosts and house manager were very helpful. The village has 3 great restaurants within 5min drive or easy walk but no other shops or cafes. Roads and car access are narrow and you need to follow arrival directions carefully as google maps may take you to the wrong place. Good base to explore Lucca, Pisa and the coast. "I went here to stay while I was going to see Elton John in Lucca. When I arrived, I was given a personal tour of the grounds... pure Tuscan living! When I went to go to the pool, I found myself in the kitchen, and was introduced to other guests staying there and was offered a seat during lunch...pool was too inviting. What’s nice is that it feels like a home, guest gathered in a parlor or in the kitchen and sat around and talked... a lovely experience. Would stay here again. "
