"We enjoyed our stay. It was great but not 5 stars. A few things need to be fixed. The master bedroom’s window rattled when the wind blew and it blew a lot. There was evidence of prior “fixes”. The oven/stove hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. These things are not deal breakers but like I said, not 5 stars. Would I return? Yes!"

"A nice house in a lovely spot, quiet and comfortable. Great views. Unusable internet on the weekend, semi-usable Monday morning. Lots of dvds but no dvd player. Back door very difficult to unlatch. A few small cleanliness issues. Still, it was overall a good experience."

"When we arrived at 8 pm at night, no one was at the front desk. There was a note - 'back at 9 pm.' One of our party was elderly, tired and hungry. The restaurant was closed. Did not see any vending machines. Then, only 2 of our 3 bookings could be found initially. We almost did not have a 3rd room! They said "It was a 3rd party booking," as if our 'confirmed' room by hotels.com might not be guaranteed. Finally, a 3rd room was found and offered an upgrade at same price. The rooms were...

"Older but well cared for property. Lots of 4x4ers and overlandiers staying here. Convenient to ANZA-Borrego and central to Borrego Springs amenities. Stayed two nights after running trails. "

"I was pleased with my stay here. Its not a 5 star resort ...but you aren't paying for one. For what I paid I was very satisfied. Room was big and clean and staff was very helpful. Could the facility use some touch ups ? Sure - but does that affect my stay ? Nope .....I will say though that I did find the grounds quite lovely. For a hotel in the dessert the amount of flower bushes all over was quite surprising and nice to look at. "
