“Very clean and comfortable accommodations exactly as pictured. The cannel was the only place we fished because it rained hard every day of our stay. And we did try out the fishing cleaning station after my wife caught a couple nice catfish. We ate at Salt Creek restaurant, and we were very pleased. Salt Creek is absolutely worth a visit.”

“The getaway cottage was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was a short walk to the dock. Mike met us at the property for a quick tour, then left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We plan on making a trip back sometime next year.”

“This place has just about everything you need in the kitchen. It even had a crock pot so i made the kids a tater tot casserole for breakfast Saturday morning!! Very clean.”

“Great little place and worked perfectly for us and another couple as we were visiting our kids at UF. Even had the girls come and stay with us for a night in the third bedroom, had a movie night and ordered in. Great location, close to campus, shopping, etc. Very clean and convenient. My only suggestion is a couple more pans to cook, if you are looking to cook, we only found one saute pan and one sauce pan. Host was responsive, neighborhood was quiet and safe.”

“Wonderful house and wonderful neighborhood. We spent a lot of time on the back patio which was private with comfy furniture and had an incredible awning wih a fan, so cool and not buggy.”

“Just like the property said. Very nice location as we were there for NHRA racing. Easy check in/out, very clean house. Lisa and pups were very friendly and enjoyed the time that we had to visit a little. More enjoyable than a hotel, would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling in that area.”

“The sofa beds did not have linen or bedding in the correct size. The bathroom door in one of the rooms needs to be repaired, you could get trapped. The house from the outside does not have identification, I arrived at a very dark night, without telephone coverage and we could not locate which house where we would stay. For the WiFi, the key is a zero place that is easy to locate, taking into account that the people who are staying are passing through, as well as placing legible instructions on……

“We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. Karen, the host, checked on us and replied quickly when we had a question. I have referred friends and family and we hope to stay there again in the future. I highly recommend this place.”

“This is a lovely property near Fanning Springs. The owners were responsive & phoned to make sure everything was in order. The home is extremely comfortable, convenient to Hwy 19, location was perfect. I usually stay in Gainesville when traveling to this area to stay in a hotel, and I’m so glad this popped up on Expedia & I found Tranquil Oaks. I’ll be back when in area. Clean, well lit, peaceful, well stocked, easy entry. Thank you! ”

“Property was nice and the pool was nice. It was very clean. It just didn’t have TVs or decoration or porch chairs. It was a just an apartment with two beds essentially. Also, didn’t have enough bathing towels. ”
