Your Hilltop Hideaway ~ Newly-Remodeled!

The Hilltop Hideaway is a newly remodeled completely furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath Bungalow that will sleep 7. Newly installed AC will keep you cool and comfortable all summer long. This vacation rental allows you to be near all of the exciting happenings Traverse City has to offer while still enjoying a quiet and peaceful nights sleep. With a Full size washer and dryer onsite doing laundry for the family won’t be an issue. We also have a optional maid service for longer stays if desired.

This spacious two bedroom rental comes with a full kitchen: dishes, utensils, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The Hideaway includes two very comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the second bedroom has both a queen and twin bed. In the main living room there is a sleeper sofa that pulls out into a queen bed. This rental includes two completely furnished decks so you can relax and take in a beautiful sunrise with a cup of java or finish the evening catching one of our beautiful sunsets!

Traverse City’s happening downtown scene is located just a few miles from your driveway. Staying near town allows you to be a few minutes away from downtown and West Grand Traverse bay’s Clinch Park. Clinch Park is the crown jewel of Traverse City and where all the local festivals are located. Downtown Traverse City has unique shops and cinemas that will captivate your stay. Our rental is located on the West side of Traverse City which allows you to be close to some amazing lakes. Long Lake, Cedar Lake, and Silver Lake are some of the great places to get outside and enjoy some time on the water. They are just minutes away, take your pick!

If you make a left out of your driveway and you will be headed towards Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, one of of the nation's top destinations. Making a right out of the driveway will take you to the world famous Moomers! Moomers was voted best hand dipped ice cream in the United States. Reviewers have dubbed Traverse City a 'Tuscany with water'. Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas offer the most picturesque wineries with popular award winning wines. Mario Batali names Traverse City's restaurants one of his favorites to visit. Your palate will be amazed by our very diverse mixture of eateries and a unique dining experience, our favorite being. At the Hilltop Vacation Rental you will be greeted with a warm Welcome that will not end until you depart!

We enjoy biking on the local paved trails every May and seeing the Cherry trees in blossom and the Hilltop Hideaway never disappoints us. We do recommend arriving in daylight because the driveway can be tricky to find at night.

This property was roomy, clean and comfortable and a great location. I would suggest that the property description also include that the living quarters are on a second floor and there is a flight of stairs to navigate. That would be helpful to know especially for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect Retreat
My daughter and I are native Michiganders who moved to North Carolina seven years ago. We came back to see friends and family. Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect place to host visitors. It was clean and comfortable. All our visitors commented on how homey it felt. We were impressed at how well it was equipped, especially the kitchen. It was a convenient location — close to town but with a country feel. The host was quick to reply to our questions and so accommodating. We look forward to future stays.

The owner (John) met my son and I when we arrived. He told us he would be available if we needed anything. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. The VRBO ad said the house could sleep up to seven. But that requires that two couples be part of the group as there were only two queen size beds. We were very pleased with the accommodations and can recommend this property to future renters.

Surprisingly spacious
This property was so welcoming. It was larger than I expected and well stocked with movies and games. It is close enough to town and the Leelanau peninsula but also peaceful. This was a girls weekend of shopping and wine tasting. I will definitely bring my husband back here with me.

Fantastic location, met our needs
Great location, very responsive owner and it does decently accommodate 7 people from a sleeping perspective and is nicely remodeled. Would have been nice to enjoy some of the outdoor balconies from the pictures but they were quite dirty including the furniture and I didn't feel like locating a bucket and washcloth to do some cleaning.

Wonderful Experience!
We had a great time at Hilltop Hideaway! Super cozy home with all the amenities and a gracious host. A quiet place to call home for a week, right outside Traverse City. We had a fire in the fire pit one night and the kids has fun making s’mores. There is a lot to do in this area! From parks, beaches, hiking, biking, water parks, mini golf, shopping downtown and of course only about a half an hour away from Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Glen Haven/Glen Lake and Glen Arbor. Such a beautiful area of the state. I highly recommend staying at this VRBO. You won’t be disappointed!

Spacious and comfortable
We stayed here with our two teenage kids (19 and 15) to visit my mother-in-law who happens to live three doors down from this place. We stayed here five nights and loved the space. The two bedrooms gave my wife and I some privacy from the kids. The kitchen was well appointed and large. The deck was very private and we enjoyed coffee there every day. This place is very close to downtown Traverse City and made it easy to explore the area. It is very close to grocery stores and shops. All in all, it was wonderful!
