Relax and Enjoy
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo, with its beautiful view, comfortable furnishings, and quiet location. We enjoyed walking on the trail, watching the rowers on the lake, and being minutes away from shops and dining downtown. The elevator worked fine and the excavation/construction in the area was not an issue during our stay. Our host, Katy, gave us all the info we needed to gain access to the condo, responded quickly to our questions, and gave detailed instructions for checkout, making the process easy. One note: Amazon streaming service was primary. It was a new one to me, but we figured it out. We would gladly stay here again!

Great Spot
The condo is very clean and in a great location! It is stocked with everything you might need for your stay including pots/pans, towels, and even soap/shampoo in the showers. It's close enough to walk to downtown (about a mile) and there is also Right Brain and TC Distillery within a block. The only two downsides were the elevator was down when we were there and there wasn't an update on when it would be fixed so being on the 3rd floor wasn't fun for loading/unloading but that's not the fault of VRBO. Check-in time was more strict than any other place I have been and they ask for money for guaranteed early check-in. However, they were flexible and allowed us to get in a little more than an hour earlier, which we appreciated. It's a great place and I would definitely go back and stay!!

Everything was as nice as picture! Very nice apartment with all amenities and appliances! Everything was super clean. Only one thing bothered me was that there was no cable/ antena. We had no way to watch the christmas nfl game. Veiw was very muchbworth it!

Great experience overall
Requested an early check-in explaining that our guests were flying in shortly after 4PM and we wanted to get the car unloaded before picking them up from the airport. I was told that I would need to pay for an extra night to guarantee an early check-in, or if the space was not rented the day before, they would let me know the day of. On the day of, I sent another message and got an automated response saying they absolutely did not allow early check-ins. This response did not seem like it came from the same person I had been communicating with. Really, 15 minutes would have mad all the difference in the world. (Or even a more personable explanation as to why we could not get in early.) Aside from that experience, our stay was very enjoyable. We had been made aware of the construction ahead of time, and it wasn't very disturbing. There was an issue with the elevator that was dealt with promptly as well. I would strongly suggest that some window coverings be installed in the living area. When the sun is out, the southern half of the sofa is not usable.

Awesome Condo
This condo was exactly as portrayed. Very comfortable and fitted out with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The only disappointment were the TV channels…..way too limited with no local news, weather or sports. We would have liked to know before booking that it was streaming, no cable.

spacious beautiful confo-glitches with check- in and the television ( missed the big game of the football season due to streaming only) - but loved being on the lake- watching sunrise and sunsets and the crew teams practicing in mornings. Owners are most kind- a drawer of leftover containers. eco-friendly laundry soap and washing machine soap. Hope to book again soon and thx to staff who responded quickly to our issues. Central location to exploring the entire area and both peninsulas. No issues with construction noise although they were there our last two days. Wonderful stay!

The place was so clean and bright. The huge deck was so enjoyable. The location was close to town, which was awesome. Like others, we were so busy out and about, we didn't spend a lot of time in the condo. But it was spacious and comfortable for our visit.

Lovely Stay on Boardman Lake
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, and the kitchen was more well-provisioned than other rentals we’ve stayed. The patio views were very pretty although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we’d like due to rainy weather most of the week. The location is one of the best parts of this property. We walked many places and downtown is less than a five minute drive (and close enough to walk if you’re up for it). We were notified of the construction outside the property which is well under way, but they didn’t work that frequently and it didn’t bother us at all. It doesn’t obscure the view, and our children were entertained by the excavators. We did feel like we had to spend a lot of time trying to keep our children (2 & 4) quiet due to the proximity of the neighbors, but I suppose that’s on us for booking a third floor unit. We also enjoyed walking and biking on the path around Boardman Lake right outside the unit. Highly recommend!

Lovely Apartment-Poor Property Mgmt/Customer Relations
I received an email a week before our stay at Boardman Ridge Penthouse, stating that there was construction in front of the building (between the terrace and lake). I expressed concern to Katy, the property mgr, who said she would get back to me the following morning with alternative options. Two business days later, I had to reach out to her again for a status. The next day, she provided one alternate location-which was an antiquated cabin for $800/night; and she also noted that the construction in front of Boardman Ridge had moved to the right of the bldg. In on-line listings, the penthouse now had a disclaimer that there is an “active construction site adjacent to the property” and they have “priced the unit to account for noise/inconvenience.” If there were an option, I would attach the video I sent to Katy, of the large backhoes, trucks, activity and noise that occurred daily. Despite that we had experienced the “inconvenience” and “noise” that Golden Swan was adjusting prices for, I had to contact Katy twice, only to receive a lame response as you why she, and her team, deemed I was not entitled to an adjustment. Bottom line, Golden Swan already had my money, and they are unwilling to afford me the same courtesy they are now offering to prospective buyers to keep the apt rented. Penny wise, pound foolish, and unprincipled on their part. The apartment was lovely. Nevertheless, I will never again rent any property from Golden Swan Mgmt.

Great place to stay
We stayed here with friends and it was just perfect. Spacious enough for 2 couples. They have thought of everything you may need while there. The location is great, close to downtown while not to close. The view is wonderful, we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The weather wasn’t ideal while we were there but that can never be predicted…..it’s Michigan. The owners response time for questions is very quick. The place is extremely clean, one of the first vrbo’s I’ve stayed at that I didn’t feel like I needed to do anything when we arrived it was just that clean. It’s a wonderful place and we all 4 said we will be back!

Got this place during what I’d assume is the down season for Traverse tourism and it was wonderful. Easy bike ride away from pretty much anything you could want to do downtown. Great view over Boardman Lake. We even got to watch a crazy thunderstorm over the lake one day and a beautiful sunrise 2 days later. The place itself was immaculate and had so many amenities (the flat top on the stove is perfect). Another perk we didn’t know about until we got there is that there is a brewery 200ft away and Traverse City Whiskey Co. is a couple blocks away as well. Awesome place, and so glad we stayed.

Great Experience
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The property and the view were both beautiful. We spent two of our three nights there cuddled up on the couch watching a movie with the fire going as snowflakes fell outside. That couch is so comfortable that we're considering replacing our couch at home with one like it. The property was well maintained, well stocked, and very secure. The location is great too. There were a TON of food options within a mile or two and I really can't think of any way it could be better.

Highly Recommend!
This was our first trip to Traverse City, we weren't really sure where to stay and we were so glad that we found this property! The location was perfect, close enough to walk downtown, but just far enough away to be out of to hustle and bustle. The condo was exceptionally clean, everything was very modern, had a great layout and we really enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake. We were greeted by a nice welcome card and a bottle of wine, and Katy (Host) was fantastic to work with. The weather wasn't the greatest and Katy was nice enough to send some great recommendations on things to do during inclement weather, without us even asking. Check-in was simple, communication was great (even after hours) and everything in the unit worked great. One member of our group is a runner and really enjoyed the 4-mile Boardman Trail that is right outside the building! Don't let the train tracks in the pictures scare you, we were there Wednesday through Sunday and there wasn't a single train that went through. We also recommend walking down to the local brewery this is less than a block away, it was fantastic! I could go on and on, but the bottom line is this property checked all the boxes and we would definitely stay here again!

Ideal location for intimate anniversary celebration
We had a terrific time and this beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and super cozy spacious condo style vacation property. We were within a long walk or short bike ride to downtown Traverse City. The bike trail and lake really did add a nice bit of scenery to our stay. The warm fire and comfortable furniture allowed us to really enjoy the place when we wanted to relax from our long day of travels to wineries and exploring the great outdoors. Lots of pure light through the many windows that surround the open area for living. The only concern would be that you make sure to not forget you favorite robe or pjs for the morning walk to the kitchen for coffee. The neighboring buildings across the parking lot houses some offices that work during the week.

This condo is wonderful, spacious, clean, well-equipped, all wrapped up with an awesome view. Morning coffee on the balcony was only surpassed by an evening glass of wine after the day’s exploration. Katy was attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the area. Our 50th Anniversary was memorable due in part to this property.

Very clean and new!
My wife and I along with our friends Jim and Diane stayed here for three nights. We’re all in our mid to upper sixties and this was the perfect size for us. The property is brand new and very spacious. A nice open floor plan with a fully furnished kitchen, a sit at island and dining room table. The living room has a huge couch, a couple of chairs, large TV and fireplace. There is large spacious deck with a table and chairs for eating at, although there is no grill. Not sure if having no grill is a bad thing since there is a beautiful stove and kitchen just inside the door. The deck overlooks beautiful Boardman Lake. Unfortunately it rain much of the time we were there so we weren’t able to use the deck much. I did however, enjoyed a cup of coffee and the sunrise on our last morning there! The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet with lots of storage and attached bathroom with a nice walk in shower. The room also featured a large TV and large full length mirror. The king bed was very comfortable. The second bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed and two large closets. The second bathroom was not part of the second bedroom, but was very nice with a tub and shower combination. All the cabinets and drawers in the whole condo featured soft close mechanisms. There is a very nice washer and dryer and a large pantry. Overall the condo was very clean, quiet and comfortable and located within a very short drive to everything from restaurants to shopping or the beach, but far enough away to not be bothered by the noise or hubbub of the downtown. Being on the third floor the elevator was blessing. The property manager, Katy, responded to all my messages very quickly. I would say the only down side was it’s a little pricey, but I’m assuming that’s because we were here during the height of tourist season. I can definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely condo in Traverse City
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and spacious condo. It was so bright, airy, comfortable and immaculately clean. We loved sitting on the deck, especially in the morning with our coffee, and taking in the view of the lake and sunrise. We also took advantage of the Boardman trail that runs right outside the building, a good 4 mile walk with nice scenery. This condo is also close and accessible to everything. Overall a wonderful stay.

Highly recommended: Clean, comfortable and close to everything
The condo was great, tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean beds and couches, nice view of Boardman Lake from the wraparound deck, and it’s a quiet spot but just a couple minutes from downtown Traverse City. Check-in was simple, and the owner and management company are extremely friendly and responsive.
