A pretty standard good quality mid-range hotel. A bit of a hike to Ikebukuro Station, but tons of options for food, combinis, shopping, and entertainment in between. Bed was very, very firm, as tends to be the norm, and the pillows were somewhat lacking (though there is a Nitori home goods store just a few blocks away that sells pads and pillows if you need them). Some things were a bit weird: Putting used towels in a little bag outside the room; having most of the standard amenities in the lobby by the front desks; each room having its own individual WiFi point to connect to. Neither good nor bad, just weird. There are 3 washers and dryers on the ground floor, but keep in mind they are designed for very VERY small loads; try to do too much at once and you'll end up having to hang things to finish drying in your room. There's a coin laundry a few blocks away that might be a better option. The absolute best part of the room was having a full-sized wall-mounted heat pump unit; setting it to 20c got the room downright chilly. The biggest downside really is location; Ikebukuro is a cool area, and if you plan on staying on the west side of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Nakano, etc) it's a good spot for a 'home base'. But getting to Akiba, the Skytree, or anything to the east and south (Yokohama, etc) can be more difficult than anticipated.

Great service, nice location, good size room for Tokyo. They have laundry and a decent sized bathroom, plus YouTube on the flat screen TV. I would stay here again. They even helped me order a pizza. Great hospitality as I said.

It was overall a nice hotel at a convenient location. The included amenities at the lobby is my favourite part of this hotel. They have a few types of tea, instant coffee, hair/skin care products, dental hygiene products etc, almost everything you might need. There is a vending machine and coin laundry in the lobby. I booked a single room and it was spacious enough to fit my two large luggage backpack without sacrificing too much walking space. The TV is nice and I also liked the adequate table space. The staff at the front desk was overall very helpful too. They do have luggage storage forwarding service. The only downsides were the air conditioning looked a bit dusty so I didn't turn it on. I am happy with opening the window for cool fresh air, but unfortunately my lower floor room faced where the smoking room was so occasionally the smell would flow into my room with the window open. It's near a hospital so there are the odd ambulances a couple times a night (earplugs available at the lobby) but otherwise it's a quiet location. Within a few min walk there is tons of shopping, conbinis, restaurants, Yamato Transport, Japan Post. Otome Road, and Sunshine City Mall. The hotel itself has a café with a small menu from 06-23. It's about 10 min walk from Ikebukuro Station. I would definitely consider staying here again and I'd request for a room that's not facing the smoking room.
