A nice, lived-in business hotel just a stone's throw away from the craziness of Highashi-Ikebukuro. It was clearly a rebranded branch of an old business hotel chain, but personally, that adds to the charm to me. Showa/bubble-era places have extra appeal that I look for when I travel to Japan. Good breakfast, and amenities relative to the price paid.

Good breakfast Staff service was great. Not too far from the train station which is so convenient to see other places. But the building is so old so vetillation in the room is not great. Needs a renovation.

Nice and friendly staff. The hotel room key is not as convenient compared to a keycard which other hotels have. The hotel room is a little dated and the bed was super hard to sleep in. Overall, I like the location because it is within walking distance of other areas in Ikebukuro and the breakfast option was decent.

Convenient location, close to the Sunshine City mall and main street in Ikebukuro area that has the new Animate store. Lots of food and souvenir stores to explore. Room itself was a decent size for Japanese standards, we got the non-smoking room and had no odor (I'm pretty sensitive to cigarette odors). Bathroom and room was clean, no questionable stains on the sheets :) Staff is friendly, helpful and know some English as well for those travelers that don't speak any Japanese. They were able to store our luggage before check-in and even took our bags up to our room once one was available. They also held our bags after check-in so we could do a bit more exploring before leaving the area.

Very close to Sunshine City and other shops including the flagship Animate store and the largest Pokémon centre. The hotel included breakfast daily although it does look as though it could do with a refresh as furniture had a few bumps and bruises and decor looked dated. Staff were very friendly l, welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

Very close to Sunshine city and opposite 7-Eleven. Staff is polite and helpful. Room size and bed is quite small for two people to stay. Mattress is not in the good condition, caused some backache

Wonderful hotel! Will definitely stay again! Quite eco-friendly! Breakfast was good! Location was very good! Only across the street from the Main Street for shopping in Ikebukuro. Great hotel near by sunshine city, animate and otome road. Great location with lot of shops and restaurants. Small room but nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Staffs were nice,helpful and speak well English.

Great stay, location, service. But a bit old.
Great location. 2 minute stroll to Sunshine City. Rooms are bigger than usual Japanese business hotels I've stayed. Breakfast buffet included in price and is very good. Hotel is a bit old though and is in need of renovation. 1 of the 2 elevator was out of action during my 4 nights stay there making it really inconvenient. I stayed on 3rd floor and it was much quicker for me to take the stairs.

I could stay with Expedia price. Those were nice price. But can not recommend hotel's original price. Room was very small. Wifi was very slow. Bed was very hard. Room was too cold and could not adjust AC's power(temp). Bath was very small. Window could be opened but very noisy outside Highway. Breakfast buffet was insane. Most of dishes were empty. Too many people.
