The most quaint beautiful little hotel I've ever stayed at. Full one bedroom apartment complete with bathroom and complete kitchen, even including microwave, coffee maker, and a dishwasher along with plates, cutlery, and a number of glasses. Almost every amenity possible was provided and shops are available within walking distance, though the hotel grounds are much easier to traverse then those outside. Second floor rooms are only accessible via steep staircase but first floor room seem perfectly accessible. Staff is extremely polite and straightforward. Better than I could have hoped especially for the antique feel.

Very quiet, no noise. I saw surprised that many people booked with the facility due to not seeing many people. Breakfast is served and they have a pool. I enjoyed my stay there.

For all the money I paid to stay here this was terrible first (Fri) night here 25 cop cars an officers walking the property looking for someone in another building, this morning first thing u see when u look outside police! Second nite same 100 police this time someone was stabbed, this is beyond me.. I asked to be moved Friday Nite they told me they would they didn’t an now everyone has amnesia

Had I gotten there earlier I surely would have skipped it and gone somewhere else because the place looked really bad and all surfaces were sticky. I couldn't even put anything down anywhere. There were ant traps roach traps visible I didn't feel comfortable even just sleeping on the bed until early in the morning and left early and showered as soon as I got home. I was actually extremely disappointed with the choice. Previously I had stayed at hampton inn in neptune NJ for a similar price and was very happy with my stay. The service was perfect the staff went out of their way to make our family comfortable. the property was clean and everything was great. I was hoping that you would take note of my disturbing experience. Thank you, Chaim Berl

The place seems to function as a welfare motel. When we checked in, there was a couple screaming at each other in the parking lot. The morning we left, there were five cop cars at the facility. The motel also requires a $200 dollar security deposit, but in the small print, it says it can take up to thirty days to refund it after one leaves. This is a total scam. I've stayed at this place before several years ago but it has really gone downhill.

We loved the home away from home feel that we felt. It looked like they were trying hard to keep the place clean. We did not like the fact that the people who lived there next to our room smoked outside, and the smoke came in our room. I did get bit by bed bugs, we killed 2, but didn't see any more. Overall we were surprised that it actually was ok, considering it has so many negative reviews.

Felt unsafe , hotel seem to be a homeless facility. The continous noise and running on the upper floor very disturbing. The next door tenants smoked directly outside my room door. The atmosphare very unhealthy . I have not had a proper shower since the water was always too hot. Never had maid nor cleaning service. There was always a challenge for towels and only available at nights if you manage to get one. Checking out was another hassle was charged for one extra night . When i discovered the extra charge was told someone changed my reservation...

There is nothing I liked about this place. I don't think it had an upgrade since it was built. The service was awful. No phones seem to work on the property. TV in the room that can't be used because of no remote. I had to go in search of someone for the front desk upon check in. Who checks standards and quality of hotels these days. This hotel should have been closed for upgrade a long time ago.

Arrived in the evening, found no coffee pot; called the office; The front desk said they couldn't provide one, because housekeeping had gone home....What??. When I went into the bathroom, found the sink was barely holding onto the wall. All night the room above seemed to be housing a team of heel walking elephants. Took a shower in the am and the water was backing up so, I was ankle deep in water the whole time. The breakfast was disgusting. Eggs had the consistency of old oatmeal and the oatmeal was frightening. The gym was terrible. Most of the equipment is not functioning and there are no towels or cleaning materials. The cable TV controller was also probably about 10 years old, falling apart and the remote barely worked. This facility is far more dated that the pictures reveal. Unfortunately it was once a nice place, but, the current owners are just letting it go to pot.

I never give a low rating but this was by far the worst place I have stayed at. The room was dirty and in disrepair. It took two of us to lift and close the door so the lock would engage. The stove was dirty and the floor was sticky. Just not a good experience. The staff was not very friendly and did not answer the phone at the front desk ever. The only positive was the shower had good water pressure. No bath mat and only two towels despite there being four in the room. ( we tried to call the desk, but nope, so we just made do). I definitely do not recommend.
