“We were there for two weeks. We started off with a family row that was horrid. Michael checked in and was very gracious. I’m not sure I would have been as understanding as he was. But it was very nice to be treated as an intelligent adult. The house is very comfy cosy. I couldn’t find a blanket to add to the bed for early mornings when it was a bit chilly, but it was exceptional for all but that hour or so. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed - except a can opener. So we had……

“We enjoyed every bit of our stay we loved the house was very close to most of the wineries! That was an A+ for us!!! The stay was amazing our host checked in us from time to time very nice person as well the house is nicely well kept clean organized with water bottles snacks coffee tea fruit!!! Has a mini fridge that was pretty convenient for us and the microwave. The weather was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our lil anniversary getaway!!!”

“Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis.”

“Cleanliness very poor , spider and all kinds of insects inside & out , around the property was very dirty table $ chairs outside was very old & dirty and unusable. We couldn’t understand the charges for cleaning on top rental cost . …. No light at the entrance of this property very difficult to enter to drive way , when returning home at night specially for guest who are familiar to area to locate property drive way on a two way road with absolutely no shoulder to pull over & search . “My wife and father-in-law had an enjoyable stay here. The shower was excellent and the bonus of a washer and dryer was appreciated for cleanup after beach days. “This place was amazing, clean and cozy. The Tuscan decor made us feel we were staying in Italy. We were welcomed with soft music and a bottle of wine. Our host Dennis was on it when we needed anything. Thank you for the great breakfast recommendations and always checking in with us. This place is not too far from the wineries and we would definitely stay here again.”

“Beautiful cottage. A few things to help improve would be to have wash cloths for showering, better toilet paper. Also I would suggest blowing off the entry points to cottage to keep debris from entering and for overall aesthetics. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.”
