Beautiful house on east bay of Hubbard lake. Had a wonderful time with friends and family. Ice conditions were good. Our tournament went well. Caught a few perch. Already looking forward to next year.

Beautiful house. Numerous plates, glasses and silverware. Only concern is that part of the instructions was to wash, dry and fold all towels but the dryer took over 2 hours to dry the towels and check out time was at 10am and the towels were not done in time to be able to fold before checkout.

It was a excellent stay, had good time with group of families. It perfectly works for 4 families. Just 30 min distance to Alpena. The facilities provided in the house are too good. The lake view is awesome and enjoyed the sun rise in early morning with lake view.

Excellent Venue - Just needs a little updating
This is a great VRBO with lots of room and great views of the lake. I reserve it every year for Easter Breakfast for my extended family. A couple of things could use some attention. This year there was no cable, only streaming services. It would have been nice to know that prior to my visit so I could plan accordingly. The furniture in the living rooms is outdated and worn down. Not the most comfortable. I also spent a bit of time fixing things that were not maintained (shower handle falling off, TV connections unclear, electric griddle does not work, etc.). Just minor things that I would rather not be doing on vacation. Also, the steps from the garage to the house need to be replaced. The are home made and not safe.

Another great trip!
For the last 3 years we’ve brought 9-10 people to the cabin to stay for the week and ice fish the surrounding lakes. Accommodations are always great, communication is always excellent and we always have an amazing time. This place is great for large groups! We love the host!

Our family celebrated Christmas at Whispering Cedar Lodge. This rental accommodated everyone. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. Property Manager answered my questions promptly. Check in and out was easy. Definitely would stay again.

Great weekend on the lake
Had a great stay here with our group of friends, 8 adults in all. We brought a pontoon and had beautiful weather for our long weekend in mid September. We all agreed the place could use a little more up keep but it's still a great place for a large group. Our only gripe was the note in the house saying all renters are required to wash and dry all the towels you used before leaving. This request was a first for all of us and we do a trip like this every year. We did as requested but it's an inconvenience. We ended up all sitting around, everything packed ready to get on the road waiting on the laundry to finish.

Fun Time for All!
It was very nice for family and kids. Part of us were at a place down the shore, and the kitchen was great for feeding the whole group. Large TVs were perfect for the hockey and golf fans who couldn’t miss those tournaments! Everyone had fun in the water! Great place! Great and spacious place for a larger group!

Amazing place!!
Perfect spot to get away from the city! It was really beautiful and the kitchen had everything you could think of! The view of the lake was beautiful especially during sunrise. I do plan on coming back! Communication with the host was very well she answered all of my questions I had :)

Basket Weaver's Retreat
The Lodge works out great for us. We had 12 gals who spent the weekend and 1 who came out just for Saturday. We had plenty of beds, lots of weaving area, and an outstanding view of the lake. We were inside most of the time--still chilly and windy in early May. We love it there and wantto return next year.

Annual Easter Breakfast
This place has become known in my family as the Easter House. My nieces bring their families and join me for Easter weekend. It is large enough that this is room for all of us and the separate large animal room allows the kids a place to play without disturbing the rest of the group (almost sound proof when we close the doors).
