"This is an idyllic place to stay, away from the crowds, on a wooded hillside surrounded by nature. The hosts, Heidi and Johannes, were very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Tavira, which has a good selection of cafés and restaurants and the nearby village of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo also has a small convenience store. The location is perfect, both for access to beaches and for hiking in the hills."

"Well appointed apartment but it needed some maintenance. The furniture was tired and worn. The grounds/pool were lovely. The walkways need work. Many loose tiles and trip hazards. "The location was great. Unfortunately there was only one comfortable (two person) couch. The plumbing was a real problem, one of the bathrooms had a plugged toilet when we arrived. The problem was dealt with quickly - thank you. After it was cleared we chose not to use it. A smell endured from that bathroom for the remainder of our stay."

"Had a lovely stay in Cabanas in this traditional Portuguese house in a small town. Everything was within walking distance. Close to the boardwalk and ferry across Ria Formosa lagoon to the beach. Two wonderful terraces. Nicely decorated with artistic touches. We had a few issues that required us to contact the owner who responded immediately. Would recommend to others!"

"The apartment in Santa Luzia is ideal for singles or couples. The village is beautiful with lots of restaurants and small local bars. The apartment it’s self if small and compact but fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed if firm but comfortable enough. There is a small enclosed garden without any view but your only a few strides away from the front with lovely views of the harbour and fishing boats."
