After checking 2 hours AFTER we could check in and travelling for over 7 hours with 2 children, we found our room had not been cleaned. It was disgusting. So I went back to check in and was told they would clean it there and then, but I refused as I didn’t want to wait any longer. We got put into another room which was only a double bed and queen bed, with no balcony after paying for a room with 2 queen beds AND a balcony. We didn’t get any compensation, barely an apology and I was made to feel like it was my fault. Even a gift card or a free night would’ve helped alleviate my frustrations.
