I was on level 10 the first to nights had no air-conditioning and then the three night air-conditioning worked but it made a lot of noise , the hotel was booked out and thy couldn't give me another room or give me a discount on the nights i stayed at the hotel

Mercure and sports club delight
Entering Mercure please note park vehicle off Mona street car park entry and follow yellow path to lift to Sports club entry where reception is located and sports club . Note after being upgraded due to original riom not ready , my stay was comfortable, and the premium rooms were really nice . The sports club has many restaurants and cafe and hotel personnel were excellent with all our requests and service . Room serviced daily and wifi ok

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Bankstown. The biggest issue was the association with the sports club. I had a 17yr old daughter with me, and she was not even allowed to walk to the hotel lifts without being accompanied by an adult. (not always possible) Extremely frustrating. My daughter felt like an outcast, not even being able to walk around the hotel.

Surprisingly quiet, for a hotel based in a sports club! Great restaurants, handy location for my purposes (and not far from the centre, 15 mins or so by train). Bit weird going through security to get in, but good service, nice and clean, and the rooms are well-specced for the price.

Loved that we had the choice of so many Vietnamese restaurants in the local area. Not very happy about problematic access into the parking area. No direct lift to levels P1 and P2 is a definite negative for the property. Also, with building works in foyer and with the lift near Mercure reception being blocked off, we had to go out into the street and enter the car park under the boom gate for cars. We did note that on one occasion however, Sports Club staff we near the glass lifts allowing parking access.....but not when we left this morning.

This Mecure is located inside Bankstown Sporting club in which every time you enter you have to show a pass. We could hear people in the next rooms talking and swearing. The walls are too thin. No real pressure on the fourth floor shower. The foyer is a construction site. Not what we expected at all.
