"The wife and I stayed for a night so that we could attend a Fringe Festival event. From the moment we arrived until we left we had nothing but friendliness and great service in a gorgeous heritage home. The feel of the hotel is kind of old worldly. There’s a fire and sumptuous leather couches to sink into whilst enjoying a glass of wine, a cuppa or bite to eat from the onsite cafe. The room was beautiful and clean with double glazed windows so there was little to no external noise offering us undisturbed sleep. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Bottom line here is this will now be our ‘go to’ for accommodation in Sydney from here on in based on the warmth of the staff, how accessible it is to everything and the very reasonable prices (not to mention that they are also dog friendly!!). Thanks again for our lovely stay. 👌"

"Fabulous room. King bed and plenty of space. Very clean and comfortable. And very affordable for Double Bay. Fabulous location too. Parking could be a problem but we found spots pretty easily. "

"This has become our regular place for short stays in Sydney. Yes, it's an older property but it's great value for the price - simple but comfortable, very clean, so quiet at night - and the location is excellent. You can walk to the beach in ten minutes, catch the bus to Bondi Junction literally outside the front gate, and there are loads of restaurants and cafes within a five minute walk. Friendly staff, free secure parking and a nice retro vibe thrown in too (love the palms and hibiscus and those original 1960s bathroom tiles). We enjoy it every time we stay and will return quite happily in future."
