“The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience.”

“What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well.……

“Beautiful views and nice amenities. We enjoyed a hot tub sunset looking at the beautiful mountains! It was within 15 minutes of the state park for nice hiking and downtown West Jefferson, which is a very viable small town.”

“Came to Damascus to do the VA Creeper Trail. This cabin is only a few miles from downtown Damascus so it was super convenient. Just a touch off the beaten path and it was perfect! Nice open living room with high ceilings, pullout couch, cute bedroom downstairs, loft with 2 twin beds upstairs. Balcony off the back is perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. We will definitely be staying here again! Owners are very responsive and checkin/out was a breeze!”

“The cabin was very neat and well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen. The natural wood finish inside gave it the feel of a cabin and the view of the mtn ridges was really nice. Part of the property was partly cleared off of trees which made it more open than expected but the leaves were still off the trees, it was March, so it will look more greener in the Spring. The numerous mountains and narrow valleys in the area were a pretty sight to see!”

“Julius was an amazing host from the moment we booked his glorious mountain home . The pictures on line do not do it justice ….. gorgeous home and could not be cleanser . The home location was an easy trip to West Jefferson for fun festivities . I especially loved sitting on the front porch …. Listening to the New River . The fire pit was also a favorite spot for our group . I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful, relaxing home nestled in a great neighborhood .”

“This place had everything we were looking for in a mountain retreat stay. Clean and well appointed with comfortable bed, plenty of room, hot tub was excellent. The fact we could bring our dogs made it even better. Super secluded with the woods surrounding it. Check in and out was a breeze and the property management company was top notch. “Had a great weekend with friends. Location is beautiful overlooking the water. Hot tub was just what we needed after a trip on the Virginia creeper. We chose to cook every meal there and enjoy the surroundings and amenities. Plan to come back with our kids on our next trip to the area.”

“The Fox Ridge Mt Cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Its close proximity to great outdoor adventure, golf and downtown Sparta was perfect for a long weekend trip with the family. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back. Check in and host communications are superb.”
