“A good hotel, clean and well maintained with very pleasant staff. Room was spacious with tea/coffee and water in the room. No evening dining, but plenty of options within 5 minutes. There is a bar. The self serve Breakfast was really good. The only downside is the car park is quite small and can only accommodate a few cars”

I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Loved the historical aspect of the hotel. Very convenient to the center of town and the cathedral ..The staff was excellent. The dining was very good and the courtyard and its resident cat delightful. The only I didnt like was there is no lift to get to the upper rooms…the stairs were very narrow. Summer could be a bit hot as there is no AC but that is common in Europe and the Uk. Would definitely stay again. ”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“We all really loved our 2 night stay here - the hosts were always friendly and really helpful with lots of local knowledge. The beds were comfy and the house has a lot of character. The breakfast was always delicious and a good sized serving.”
