The most uncomfortable places I have ever stayed Left two days early, not a good piece of furniture inside. sitting outside was like being at the end of the runway at JFK

Delaware Fishing Trip
My wife, myself, and our two miniature schnauzers enjoyed our stay. We brought a small K-cup coffee maker since one is not available. Cabin is small but cozy. Not sure how six people could fit. But two is good. West branch of Delaware just 50 yards away. Caught a couple of brown and rainbow trout while there. River was really crowded with drift boats and kayakers during the week. My wife said that she thinks the cabin was decorated by a muzzleloading reenactor(smile). It was a great time and we will return next year.

Annual Fly Fishing Trip
Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open.

Great Getaway
The property is great. 10 acres on the river with path cleared for walking around. Sean was great to communicate with and allowed me to bring my three dogs. It was my first time there and I am going back for a week in October. The cabin itself has all you would want. Good wifi, tv and a smaller but very cold fridge. I spent a great deal of time on the spacious porch which has a three foot overhang so you stay dry when it rains. I was out there at 6 every morning with my coffee after walking the dogs to the river and back. Stores are 10 to 15 minutes away. It was a well needed and relaxing 4 days. Looking forward to October.

Had a great stay at the cabin. Everything about the cabin and property was amazing! Some highway noise but nothing a roaring fire can drown out. Would stay again for sure!

The cabin and property were exactly as advertised. There were no unpleasant surprises. You can get a good sense of the size and character of the cabin through the posted photos. What few interactions we had with the owner were professional and efficient. The written instructions were clear and thorough. A neighbor stopped by to check on us immediately as we arrived (there was a tractor on the property that he offered to move but we were fine with it). The cabin has good access to the river. All in all a pleasing stay.

Idk what I enjoyed more the land, cabin or the endless amount of fishing I felt like a kid in a candy store! It’s a perfect get away I love the 2nd floor bed room being able to look down it’s an experience there is nothing to complain about you looking for a cabin look no further this be the one 5/5 in my book !

Stressless in Starlight
Aside from traffic noise, which soon became soothing, this beautifully crafted cabin provided us with the perfect getaway for us and the dogs. The property provided us with our own sanctuary allowing the dogs their own playground and us to relax. We never left the property for 4 days except for me to get another case of bottled water and some local firewood. The bottled water was necessary as the tap water contained a sulfur odor which we didn't want in our cooking or coffee. Great place to loose touch for a few days. Thanks for the respite.

Winter weekend getaway
Our family wanted a winter getaway in a quiet area in NE PA. This cabin checked all of the boxes. The cabin had everything needed for a family of four and was pet friendly. It was cozy, had wood stove, and great views. It was a nice having wifi and tv for at night. We loved that the cabin was so close to the Delaware River with its own walking path. It even snowed which topped off the experience. It was also close to state game lands where we went for a nice hike. We hope to come back to enjoy a summer trip.

I booked this cabin the weekend before Valentine’s Day, requested for a romantic ambiance, and they did just that, under short notice might I add. The property manager’s communication was spot on, which was needed especially because we arrived later in the day and couldn’t find the hidden entrance. Sean was always one call away, which made our experience go so much smoother. The cabin itself is extremely cozy, however be sure to have fire wood on standby if visiting during the colder months. The people in the town are extremely friendly so they made our getaway from home feel even homier. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and maybe for a longer period next time!

Best Holiday Retreat
We were fortunate to stay at the Cabin during the Christmas/New Year Holidays of 2021. We loved our stay. It was by far our best VRBO experience. When my wife saw that the Cabin was available for the 2023 Holidays, we jumped at the opportunity to book our 9 night vacation. What's there not to love? The Cabin sits on 10 acres of privacy on the Delaware River. Perfect for walks with our dogs. The Cabin is incredibly constructed. So energy efficient, the wood stove heated the entire Cabin. The interior decor is rustic and beautiful. The kitchen is small but very functional and well stocked with cookware and utensils. The Stove worked great, and among many great meals, we cooked a delicious 4 Rib Center Cut Prime Rib Roast for Christmas dinner. The refrigerator is on the small side, perfect for a long weekend getaway. Because of the time of year, we were able to store some of our food in coolers outside on the porch. We enjoyed the smart tv with internet access to all of the major streaming apps and the wifi signal strength was great. The main bedroom is very comfortable and the loft is a great escape for reading, playing cards, or sleeping. Nice skylight window. The check-in/out instructions were well communicated and allowed easy self access to the property. The Cabin was warm when we first arrived, which was appreciative on a cold December night. Thank you Sean for a great experience! We look forward to enjoying the Cabin on future stays!

Nice location and property
Overall expression- nice location and house. Very detailed explanation of rules - from how to get in to how to leave.Property located nicely close,including own access to Delaware River with big territory around.Almost secluded from neighborhood ( if you don’t mind if there one local and ,across the river, one state road.House has good heating,the bed (downstairs)was comfortable.Stylish decorated inside/out,comfortable porch and chairs near fire pit.. What we would recommend?First- better cleaning :the floor was dirty,same with plates,cups and glasses( latest are very limited in quantity)- had to clean it all upon arrival ;linens and towels needed to be updated(it clean,but way overused),TV set is too small(32’) to watch it from not very comfortable sofa 15 feet away.Internet was disconnected in the morning of checking out day( why?).Surprised to find in the house rules -we have to buy own firewood( in such forest surroundings area!)- we had to get it in the local store-very expensive,so it should supplied and included in that price.. The rest was good and very good. We enjoyed staying in this property.

The Perfect Remote Cabin
I cant tell you how wonderful of a stay we had at your cabin. Everything was clean and exactly as advertised. Breathtaking views of the mountains and river, as private as you can get, but close enough to restaurants and convenience stores. We just stayed on the property and in the cabin to unplug from life and couldn't have been happier doing so. This place truly felt like home away from home. 10 out 10 rating. Would recommend to anyone looking for an experience like this. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a quiet getaway
My husband and I drove from Massachusetts for a quiet getaway, and the cabin was perfect. I couldn’t believe how clean it was (I even checked for cobwebs in corners and couldn’t find one). It was a bit of a drive to the hiking spots we went to but the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend.
