We have previously rented another location which we will now call the dungeon. Three flights of stairs which was extremely tough for my elderly mother. We made last minute arrangements with the host to arrive a little earlier then check in. The rental was a little further from the beach than expected and still had about 8-10 steps to maneuver but was doable. And since this was my first time doing VRBO, I had many questions. Eric was patient and kind. Love that there is laundry on site. Would rent again.

Quant apartment in the mountains
First and foremost, Eric is a terrific host. He was super communicative, accommodating all of our requests and concerns. This apartment is not in an ideal spot in terms of being walking distance from anything really. However, if you are renting a car you will enjoy this quiet, residential spot. It has a nice view and you get lucky with a big backyard. There’s a private parking spot, so it’s recommended to rent a car if you plan to stay here. It’s an even 10-15 min drive away from both Charlotte Amelie and red hook. Under 10 min to Maegans Bay. The apartment itself has everything you need for a 1-2 person stay, with the exception of weak natural lighting. But if that doesn’t bother you then you won’t be disappointed!
