Very disappointed with my stay! I’ve had some friends mention this place as an option for staying at St Simons and I was honestly disappointed especially knowing how much I paid! When I arrived, I was early but was greeted so pleasantly at the front desk and told that I would be checked in and contacted as soon as the room was available. Once checked in - the disappointment began. Starting with the elevator. The carpet was very dirty and the elevator had a terrible odor and the doors looked as if someone had spilled something or possibly puked on them. I took the stairs a lot after that and waited til late the next day to try the elevator again and sadly it was still in the same condition. Then the room !!! Once I unlocked the door, I sat my bags down and went to take my toiletry bag to the bathroom and first thing I notice is a dirty rag on the shower rod. I took pictures and sent it to room service (because the desk staff gave me a sheet and said if you need anything please text us) and I only received an “I’m sorry” . Then I decided to look around and here are the other findings - the AC would allow you to set it on 65 but only got down to 72. There was a broke lamp. One of the beds felt as if it would fall to the floor with the slightest movement. When I pulled back the sheets on the other bed - there was 3 hairs . I didn’t even bother to send any more texts to room service after they seemed to not be concerned with the dirty rag. I guess I expected better for the price.
