"Gorgeous villa and grounds. Best breakfast of our 2 weeks in Portugal. The lock to the entryway of our lodging was broken and not repaired while we we were there. Also, the shower hot water was not warm enough. "

"Christina was very helpful getting us oriented. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast part was not actually at the Chalet, it was up at the Saudade cafe, a short walk away. Also, there was no free coffee on premises, only tea. Why is this? Bed was comfortable and room was quiet at night, as long as guests above went to bed. Floors very creaky. This location is not very close to area attractions or old town, so there is a lot of walking on very steep hills. You need to be in shape! "

"This is a truly beautiful property and would be perfect for a destination wedding or other gathering. The guest house is magnificently appointed. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a swimming, pool and tennis courts. The host of the guest house personally greeted us. We had breakfast made to order on the patio. The only drawback is that it’s done a very dusty dirty road From the town "
