The cabin has all the amenities you'll need for a perfect getaway! Relax in the brand new Sauna! Stay active on rainy days in the rec room outfitted with Foosball, darts, 52' HDTV, DVD library, and record player! Or shoot hoops or bean bag toss on the paved driveway.

Wonderful Log Cabin with Gorgeous views. Very Clean House had plenty of room/privacy for 8 of us. Was full of many amenities including games/puzzles & the typical linens & all kitchen dishes/pots & pans etc. Perfectly located 1/2 way up the shore. Centrally located to many parks. We loved our stay!

This is a perfect spot for trails and state parks. Deck is gorgeous. Just remember to bring some bug spray. Home has everything you would have in your own kitchen. Beautiful view of Lake Superior.

Beautiful log home on Gichi-gami
This home on the beautiful North Shore is everything you will ever want for a wonderful trip with family and/or friends. Great location to visit the hidden gems of Caribou and Illgen Falls. Just a 30 minute drive to Lutsen to visit the winery to take in outdoor music or visit another hidden gem we discovered, Sugarloaf Cove. Staying in this property has been a yearly tradition that I share with family and friends. We have already booked this property for 2024 and are so excited to return!!

BEAUTIFUL place, but– beware those with CAT allergies.
We loved our stay at the High Brow. The property rests on a beautiful cliff overlooking the lake with tons of amazing hiking trails in the area. Upon our arrival the kitchen floors were a bit sticky in a couple areas but really no big deal. Easy to clean up. Within about 30 minutes of being there my throat started to get a bit itchy and I knew something was up. Just a bit after that, my husband found a cat toy in the cushion of the chair. Unfortunately, my cat allergies took over. Fortunately we were able to be outside a bunch which helped. Overall, this place was perfect! Tons of games, firepit, tons of space. Almost NOTHING to do upon leaving- owners really just let you enjoy your stay. But just a heads up to those with cat allergies.

Relaxing holiday getaway
Warm and cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Close to many activities(hiking/skiing/winery) but ended up spending a lot of our time just relaxing and hanging out at the cabin. Plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out. And the sauna was a definite plus. Owner was great and very responsive. One of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay - views are spectacular and the accommodations are super nice. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked for making your own meals. Cozy and Wonderful
We've stayed at a lot of places on Lake Superior over the years and this cabin is definitely one of our favorites. The deck offers a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make great meals while our friends relaxed by a fire in the main room, which was really cozy. We were close to tons of places to go on hikes and when we did have a question about anything, we texted the owners and they got right back to us. If there were more than five stars to give, we'd give more. :)

Girlfriends Getaway
From the time we arrived, everything was as promised. The bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds and plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware, spices and anything else we might want or need. We all enjoyed the fire pit on our last night and even had a sing-along. Some of us used the sauna. Highbrow is a peaceful and beautiful home located right on the edge of Lake Superior and close to State Parks and the SHT. Bird watching and star gazing are incredible! The kitchen is very well stocked. We look forward to our next adventure here!

A North Shore Gem
We already love the North Shore but this cabin made a special trip even better. Great location to the big parks, a little drive north the Grand Marias. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The owner was great at communicating all of the little details to make our stay easy and relaxing. We'll be back.

Cozy cabin on the shore.
This cabin offers a fantastic view of the lake and comfortable accommodations close to many north shore activities. Excellent communications from its owner to help with a locked door to the screened in porch! Would definitely go back!
