It is really off the beaten track on the rugged shores . A nice place for nature lovers and people who want a retreat from the madding crowds .the road to the cove is tortuous long and beautiful and the sunset was out of this world . It is not an overnight stay because of the length of time getting there and then back . Ideal if you want to stay and explore for a few days

This place was AMAZING! I cannot begin to describe how much we loved the king suite with jacuzzi tub! The views were incredible, food on site was great! We could walk everywhere we want to go which made for a super fun and easy new years! Donna was a gem and available to us every time we went in the office! We cannot wait to come back!

This place is amazing!! Check in was quick, easy and Donna was very accommodating. Our room was epic, totally stunning view with the sound of crashing waves a few yards away. The town is tiny and quaint but packed with great options. Food, drinks and activities abound!!

Oceanfront Inn at Shelter Cove was my wife and I favorite stop of our cross country road trip. She’s already talking about going back. The beach is beautiful. The room was cozy and we got a great night of sleep. I definitely recommend!

We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the ocean. Let alone the panoramic balcony. The hot tub in the room worked well. We felt like we were literally on top of the ocean. The waves crashing never ceased to stop. It was amazing! Would absolutely love to go again

Lovely weekend in Shelter Cove
This is a lovely hotel right on the ocean. The room we were in overlooked the ocean and we heard the waves all night...lovely way to fall asleep. Donna took good care of us and the room was clean and well maintained.

Awesome!
Donna, the manager, was fabulous! Our downstairs room was unavailable (plumbing issue) & we were given the downstairs apartment suite, with a grass backyard, deck & plenty of places to sit! Amazing views of beach, rock outcroppings, & ocean! We immediately ran back to Donna, in an effort to book for longer…… But EVERY room had the same view from their rooms. A cafe with wonderful coffee, breakfast sandwiches, & bakery goods, with the same views both from indoors & outside seating! Lighthouse & beach access right next door, with deer roaming around the Inn. It was exactly what we needed, during our Anniversary road trip!!!

Stunning views of the ocean from our balcony room! Shelter Cove is a very safe, quiet and laid back area. While you can’t walk the beach here, it is very beautiful and unique to look at and ocean views are amazing. Lots of unusual rock formations, sea lion spotted. Deer greeted us in parking lot. We hope to return some day!
