"This is a typical you get what you pay for. I enjoy extended stays for the most part, but my room had a stale smell and probably needed aired out. But the staff were great. I cannot remember their names now but it was 2 women and they were nice and helpful when i had questions and needed some sugar for my coffee. I appreciated them so much. "

"Close to manhattan, though expensive to take an Uber! The WiFi wasn’t the best and we lost connection to it often, low signal in the room and was told it didn’t matter how many bars we had. All in all it was clean and felt safe. The workers were nice, though the breakfast offered was mainly granola bars and oatmeal with coffee. "
"The hotel was good for the price. The rooms were pretty outdated. The comforter was old feeling and looking but the mattress was not bad to sleep on. Housekeeping came everyday which was nice and refreshed towels daily. The bathroom seemed a bit more clean than the room itself. For a budget hotel it wasn’t bad at all. Super close to the bus stop which was convenient for wanting to get into the city. Bus ticket was about 3$ a pop to get to Manhattan. "

"We were upgraded to a trim in the top floor with a terrace. Really made the stay extra special "

"This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out.
First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch.
Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make no noticeable changes, the New Yorker genuinely impressed me. Without any request, they upgraded my room significantly due to my extended stay. The upgraded unit had three rooms, a terrace, a walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and a stunning view of Midtown. They got it right, and I’ll be booking with them more often."
