I booked at the last minute due to a home blackout. Power returned 30 minutes later (sooner than the 2am prediction) and called the hotel for refund consideration. Hotel stated that only Expedia could call.I eventually reached an Expedia agent (automated system hung up on me 8 times) and the agent tried unsuccessfully to reach deciding hotel manager. Eexpedia agent assurred me it was cancelled and will process the request resolution within 72 hrs. I asked that if no refund, that I would just use the room but they offered that It would ne handled and not to worry. Result: no refund, no discounts, no credit and no room use. I gave a $180 donation to a failed communication between two parties. Unprofessional and poor customer care on both sides.

Good check in and check out. Furnishings starting to look a bit shabby. Strong chemical cleaners after housekeeping. Towels are hard and small. Toiletries are nearly impossible to squeeze out if containers. I would say this is a cheap and satisfactory hotel. See if you can get a deal in the off season. The best feature is its location to the mall.

I come to Seattle on business 3-4 times a year, 10-14 days at a time and usually stay at this hotel. It's a budget-friendly hotel that has courteous staff, a good breakfast buffet and I get a room with a kitchenette so that I can cook meals in my room. As a place to sleep and relax between meetings that is close to shopping and a wide variety of restaurants, this hotel has all the essentials I need.

Staff are friendly. Love the free parking. The parking lot at night is totally illuminated. The property itself is dated but very clean. I was placed next to the elevator and heard a woman yelling down below around midnight but the sound insulation in the room was excellent!

This is one of the older Best Westerns. Nothing special but reliable. The building itself is a bit of a maze as you can tell the building has expanded over time. The bathroom was tiny so that a larger person would not have much space to turn around Breakfast was the most disappointing part. The eggs came from a carton (as expected) but the bacon I believe is the frozen kind and tasted like cardboard. Almost everything else was highly processed. It was the first time I’ve seen bio-engineered ingredients in yogurt. I ended up buying food from somewhere else.
